This was a extremely interesting finale to GreenplanetFM’s year of broadcasting. Showing that innovation and intuitive insights are still pushing the boundaries here in NZ, and that as NZ is the closest large country to the international dateline, it can be said that we in NZ see tomorrow first.

From this discussion we still recognise that grass roots organising is the only way we can initiate change, being that which has localised support.

Lisa, laying down a new framework so as to guide us in self governance at a community to national level that is guided by a conscious blue print that takes human governance to a level never before envisaged and John, talking to quantum biology adding that for people to not be limited from lack of energy, we must ensure we operate at optimum health. With the use of new cutting edge health technology have our hormones in balance, eating preferably organic sustenance, to empower us to co-create our day, and contribute in the community as part of a far larger dynamic whole.

Lisa  talked about the interviews that she conducted over the year from fraking, the TPPA, the rights of nature, Pachamama being in the Constitution in Ecuador, GMOs & GE and chemical sprays, the Palestine Middle Eastern situation and the launching of The Awareness Party

Johns focus was that 80% of the western world has thyroid imbalance, that overweight people, induces the onset of heart disease, partly because they can not lose weight effectively,  resulting in lack of concentration, lack of vitality and with adrenals are out of balance, leading to low immunity and people are struggling to do even be close to their best.

Ex Green Member of Parliament Keith Locke speaks about the Countering Terrorist Fighters Bill with Lisa Er.

The Government is legislating at breakneck speed to pass a Bill it calls "Countering Terrorist Fighters Legislation". It will allow the SIS to conduct video surveillance on private property, for a specific period of time without a warrant, and will enable New Zealand passports to be suspended for 10 days or even cancelled for up to three years.

All this, in case we harbour aspirant fighters for a fundamentalist Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. But experts like Richard Jackson of Otago University say the evidence shows that it is extremely rare for returning jihadists to commit terrorist acts in their home country. Is it wrong to create law, which offends our human rights, just to cover some very unlikely or exceptional future event?

Matt states that for NZ to be happy as a country and be respected in the world, you need to know what your place is and to be seen as a country that makes its own mind up for its people and for their interests.

This does not mean that you are selfish or isolated, in fact quite the opposite, because if you make your own decisions, you are not told which countries that you can deal with and which you can't. Which was certainly a factor when we were tied to our mother United Kingdom’s apron strings and later becoming a close ally to the United States which of course is reoccurring to this day.

This then opens out to how do we remain/become independent which is inclusive of indigenous people and being independent sets the framework of this interview. The question of independence is central to many New Zealanders.

Compost worms and earth worms are the unsung heroes of the composting world and the ecological world - generally. Aristotle called them the intestines of the soil, and Charles Darwin's last book was dedicated to covering the role of earthworm on our planet. Even in his day he was aware that many cultures in the 19th century were very conscious of the role that earthworms played in the creation of high quality soil and fertility.

When we understand the complexity and the relationships within the web of life and when we take the time to understand the grandeur in a fork full of compost, we realise that trillions of microflora, spiralling DNA, decaying leaf matter plus minerals and life force can be enabled to journey up through a young tree, to eventually manifest a juicy fresh golden peach in our hands - as undeniable ripe-full fruition.

From dark dirt of the earth to fleshy, succulence and juicy sweetness - the transmutation of minerals into food, nobly assisted by the humble earth worm.

Ben started off young, with grandparents having incredible gardens and his grandmother having bees so they were constantly embedding themselves in high quality food and the enthusiasm of growing food for themselves and that his parents were also into sustainability. So his upbringing was very focused on growing food by organic means in which he terms his Kaupapa - respect for growing food and eating it being always present.

Could you imagine that any government would be stupid enough to sign an international agreement that would allow overseas corporations to sue it, in secretive offshore tribunals, claiming that new laws and regulations have seriously undermined the value of their investments? Well, that is what our New Zealand Government and eleven other countries around the Pacific Rim are negotiating right now.

Deborah Howard, heart-centred Integrative therapist is interviewed by John Coombs about her approach to health and wellbeing and the opportunities which arise when our Heart - Mind - Body – Spirit are in balance.

In a world so full of possibilities this discussion covers a range of wellbeing possibilities for us to get aligned to our human potential both individually and collectively.

As a global community, we currently face vast challenges. We collectively depend on shared resources including clean water, energy, a just economy, access to food and the Internet. However, these assets are threatened by economic, political, and social systems that do not support what’s best for the vast majority of people or the natural world and in many ways they are not interested in changing their business model of growth for growths sake.

Yet, representing transition towns, eco-villages, small business cooperatives, spiritual communities, seed sharing networks, local currency practitioners, gift cultures, civic society, these new movements across the planet are the counterculture of today.

Initiatives and events like these give us great hope and encouragement that transformation is indeed occurring at every level of the human story: individual, institutional and collective.

Element magazine has a NZ readership of 140,000 people and could quite easily be New Zealand's flag bearer of conscious ecology, and business inclusive of food, health, community and leisure.

Listen to how James, being Editor of such a prestigious publication where one moment he may meet an energetic and inspirational person doing something that encouragers other people to follow suit, and the next message may be of an ecological report that is so devastating and disempowering. Yet, as a family man with two young boys, his resolve becomes even stronger to engage in publishing and sharing information and knowledge that can make this world a better place for us all to live.

In this the second programme of the Sacred Activism series with Marama Winder we explore the deeper dimensions of sacred action in our world. We are called at this time in an upwelling of positive change and transformation.

The coming together of the wisdom of the feminine and masculine is a crucial link in this shift and is elegantly portrayed in this interview. Alongside Marama’s potent voice of sacred activism and the deep feminine is Jon Winder who brings in the masculine perspective of our calling to sacred service.

This interview covers many aspects of what it is to involve oneself in sacred activism, from working with people, their rights, and justice for animals, the environment and our planet as a whole.

What are the principles of Sacred Activeness?

But first, what does the sacred mean?

“Something held in high regard, something beautiful and untarnished, something considered of worth and worthy of spiritual respect, something inspiring awe.  All of these are sacred. The sacred can be described in exquisitely beautiful words like holy, blessed, revered, venerated, consecrated, sanctified and dedicated,” offers Marama Winder, sacred activist and global spiritual leader whose passionate love of people, planet and cosmos inspires hope and participation in the co-creation of a new world founded on compassion for all life.

Between 2% and 6% of society are actively engaged people - movers and shakers are change agents that have huge energy - they have very strongly held beliefs - they are very hard to influence, because of their own strong belief systems... very engaging and being ethics based. You also have the fast followers another 10% or so.

At the other end of the scale you have the actively disengaged again between 2 and 6% of society, though you would think that they were very dissimilar from the former, however, in many ways they are two sides of the same coin. These people, basically oppose things, because that is who they are ... they are also quite noisy and we focus a lot of energy endeavouring to change them, when in many ways there is no point. You also have the disengaged group, not quite as bad as the actively disengaged, which make up around another 10%.

HOWEVER, the best is to focus on the other 68% of society, they are the neutral group. They don't necessarily have strongly held belief systems and they are the ideal audience because they are by far the easiest people to influence because of a lack of strongly held belief systems.

Thus influencing them is a lot more easier, they can can swing either left and right and there are a lot more of them.

The choice of language when communicating with the 68% is critical...

Jonathan, well known overseas as a gifted metaphysical artist and cosmologist, creates computer graphics on the big screen presenting leading edge mathematics and geometry, unveiling to us both the unity and diversity of existence including the majestic tapestry of universal patterns.

Today our world is in a flurry of a hurry, with survival and the outside world impinging on our everyday life - finance, crime, war, job, family, housing, weather - that so much information is being pumped in to our living rooms and lounges, that for many of us, we are in information overload.

Time to take an in-breath and inhale the invisible that we all share and which keeps us alive. It has become very noticeable over the last 20 years that the pace of life has left us little time to catch up on what constitutes existence and to figure out our particular place in the world.

Where once we seemingly had more time to read a book, and contemplate the meaning of life, the situation has morphed down to a quick squizz of a magazine, and now to a 5 minute You Tube, to even quicker, hasty texts and tweets.

However, at another level, discoveries into the makeup of existence are still being made from understanding more about holography and that the universe appears to be holographic, to morphic resonance, the emergence of form, to quantum -everything- and interconnection and from chaos theory, to the fact we can - spontaneously evolve - on towards behavioral insights, teleportation and telepathy, whilst unknown to many - the evolution of consciousness continues unabated.

World authority Dr James Wilson discusses how to prevent or better manage stress and serious fatigue with John Coombs from Global Health Clinics.

Discover how we can usually overcome even debilitating fatigue conditions and go on to live highly productive lives by stimulating our adrenal glands with proven natural medicine systems which have helped thousands of New Zealanders already.

This involves a simple recovery program which also prevents us sliding into much more serious or chronic states of health.

Dr Wilson a busy Dr with a 9 month waiting list did his 3rd Doctorate degree researching chronic fatigue. He recognised this was affecting most of his clients and was primarily caused by overloaded adrenal glands. He called this Adrenal Fatigue and developed a highly functional system to overcome even severe fatigue using a combination of vitamins, minerals and herbs, as well as glandular extracts. This combined with leading a more balanced lifestyle can lead to high levels of vitality and a high quality of life.

The adrenal glands influence 50 different hormones in the body including testosterone, estrogen, the thyroid as well as many of the happy hormones and are critical for both vitality and healthy immunity. Discover how improvements can be expected in Libido, Sleep, Work Performance, Relationships, Creativity and Enthusiasm for Life.

What keeps people in poverty? Aren’t the minimum wage and the benefits enough to live off? Why are there 285,000 children in New Zealand being raised in poverty? Surely it is mismanagement of money, and the fact that people have too many children. People are lazy and want to stay on government hand outs.

These are the excuses that some New Zealanders trot out to excuse turning an uneducated  blind eye to the suffering of our fellow countrymen / women.

Where is the understanding and compassion that should come in an egalitarian society, where we all respect and care for each other?

Emily Garden is the Project Officer for the Family 100 Research Project – a ground-breaking project that followed 100 Auckland families living in long-term hardship. Family 100 seeks to give a voice to these families in order to understand what factors work to keep people in hardship while others are able to move on to lead more secure lives. Emily has a Masters in Sociology from Goldsmiths College, University of London, and a background that includes tertiary teaching and community mental health.

Emily explains that many of the Family 100 Research Project participants spoken to describe having to choose between keeping warm or eating. One of the clients described it as a juggling act. One mother tells that she and her husband went without meals many times, just for the fact of knowing that their kids are fed. “We always put the children first. If it means we have to go without so they can have it, well so be it”. Another client described the stress that she goes through, and the everyday feeling of being overwhelmed. She said “I more or less thought there was no light at the end of the tunnel, I felt like I was knocking my head against a brick wall”.

Horrific pictures of the atrocities in Gaza have filled the news and distressed many people recently. However in the short time the news media have to report, there is little time for discussion as to why Hamas fire rockets into Israel, and why Israel responds or initiates as it does, with such disproportionate force.

On August 19th 2014, after a month of war, the Gaza death toll stands at 2,016, 70% of whom were civilians, in the small densely populated coastal territory. 10,000 people have been reported injured. Sixty-four Israeli soldiers and three civilians in Israel have been killed.

In this interview Tuma Hazou, explains the background to the 2014 Israeli incursion into Gaza within an historical perspective. Tuma was born and educated in Jerusalem. He then joined the BBC Arabic Services in London. He worked as a radio and TV journalist, a filmmaker in Jordan contributing to the BBC, UPI, ABC, and as special advisor to Prince Hassan, then Crown Prince of Jordan. Subsequently he worked in UNICEF’s regional Office for the Middle East and North Africa in Amman, as Chief of Information and External Relations.

Tuma speaks openly and compassionately about his concern for his people and the hopeless situation that they are in. He tells of the rise of Hamas and how it was partly funded by the Israelis.

It is notable that Hamas is not considered a terrorist organization by:

Famously known over 40 years ago for his mystical journey up beyond this 3rd dimensional plane into what is perceived as the ‘angelic hierarchy or realms’, James Hurtak continues to share insights and information to awaken us to our life’s purpose as well as connect to our higher self and more.

Covering vast themes as futurism, archaeology, theology, quantum realms, sound, remote viewing and the development of consciousness, this seems at odds to the nightly news of political intrigue, crime and the terrible mayhem and savagery that’s happening in so many countries on earth today.

Yet, both he and his wife Desiree acknowledge, like many of us, that there is also an upward spiral taking place in the field of consciousness and expanding ones awareness … and they see NZ as being a mystical island country, that initiated the template for woman to gain the right to vote, freeing up the divine feminine and anchoring this much needed - balancing archetype.

Also, that NZ being a country that instituted so many early social reforms that in many ways due to our isolation from the rest of our planet, allowed us to become an embryonic catalyst for new ideas, consciousness and spiritual insight. The emerging microcosm for the planetary macrocosm.

Though the book ‘Keys of Enoch’ was written over 40 years ago, and has coded in it layers and layers of information that takes many years of self-reflection, meditation, prayer and silence to decode, they have between them just completed a new book called the ‘Over Self Awakening’ of our higher (spiritual) self, which is an integral part of us, but at a higher level. This higher self, which we have forgotten or dissociated from for as long as we can remember is the key to our coming into alignment with our spiritual purpose so that we can in this life, finally manifest a destiny that breaks the spell that we have previously found ourselves in.

John Coombs interviews Richard Margesson on the new Mindpath, rewire your brain programs, discussing Richard’s life and work.

Richard has led an adventurous life.

Brought up between a dairy farm in upstate New York and the bustling streets of Manhattan, he gained a BA (Hons) degree in the UK before joining an elite infantry Regiment in the British Army.

He has paced through the halls of Buckingham Palace, marched in the Queen’s Birthday Parade, trudged through the sands of The Gulf, led humanitarian convoys in Bosnia, started a restaurant in a war zone, rehabilitated former child soldiers in Africa, married his Yoga teacher, lost his boots to a dingo at Ayers Rock, built up two hypnotherapy clinics and slept under cabbage trees while walking the length of New Zealand.

Adventures can come at a cost, however.

Richard has gained first-hand experience of how stress can either enhance or degrade performance at work and home. With his wife and business partner Rosa, he founded MindPath to coach executives, business owners and their teams to overcome mental and emotional obstacles.

There is no PLANET B.

Sustainability is not just to do with the environment, but also our culture or society, how it thinks and what it does en-masse on a daily basis. Imagine - if our society is living sustainably and we are ‘consciously’ not creating consumer waste; that all our purchases are based on quality products, for example ‘clean food’  that everything is biodegradable, on how little waste (packaging) there is, we will be making huge progress.

That reducing our intake is also at the forethought of our minds, that all things are being recycled or reused and that everyone is mindful that we all are part of a ‘closing the loop’ culture our ‘knowingness’ will automatically realise that we are part of a greater whole.

This holistic notion, that we are embedded in the greater dynamics of the biosphere - of us all elegantly cycling ‘through’ everything and being aligned with nature as in ‘Cradle to Cradle’ the idea promulgated by William McDonough, we will be on our way home to being more ‘at one’ with the planetary ecology that we are embedded in.

At present we are far from it, as this is not being languaged from any level of Government, who at present have no intention of empowering the community to become more 'conscious' - solely because they are not.

This interview with Julio covers his upbringing in Brazil, where it’s the disparity of social economics, that widens the gap between the many poor people just subsisting and not really living in a healthy highly educated community.

Hunger Housing Heating Health – the Child Poverty in New Zealand – with Julie Timmins interviewed by Lisa Er.

We live in a society of benefit bashing. This is not only done by the uneducated, but by a wide range of people which includes the attitude of successive governments. This has resulted in the creation of a flawed in work tax credit, worth up to $60 a week, that while good for some families with working parents, discriminates against  beneficiaries and so only assists some of the poor.

Our leaders have created a system that has left 27%, or 260,000 of our children being raised in poverty and a large percentage of those children come from families of beneficiaries.

This is basically the choice and the will of the people of New Zealand who are sufficiently hardhearted to say, Go get a job! Where are all the jobs! And where are jobs with appropriate hours for parents, especially women with young children?

How many of our political parties have made child poverty an election issue?

New Zealand’s Maui dolphin as an iconic species is hovering on the edge of extinction.

Maui’s used to be found all around NZ’s North Island (Te Ika o Maui - The Fish of Maui). Maui’s and Hectors (Papakanua) dolphins (they are sub species of the same group) were the most common dolphin along our coasts prior to the coming of the European.

The area of concern today is from North of Wanganui in the South up to around Maunganui Bluff in North Auckland.

However, their numbers have been falling dramatically, that back in the 1970’s there were 2000 in number and now we are down to around just 55. From 30,000 Hector’s in the 1970s, to 7,000 today, we can see where these species losses are trending.

Three Maui’s dolphins a year are killed in trawl/set nets in NZ, which are their biggest point source threat. We have to eliminate all human induced threats out of the habitat.

What is it to be surrendered? To many people especially in the political sphere this is a contradiction in terms, how can you be endeavouring to change some thing yet be surrendered?

Yet, from a Gandhian perspective, being surrendered to the greater good, to doing everything to benefit the greater whole is in fact the coming paradigm that we are entering.

Gandhi expressed it this way. ‘I live in the centre of a circle that has no circumference.’

It’s called selfless action that transcends service to self.

How do we go about surrendering to a ‘greater power’ than the self?

Spending ones total life devoted to good, to the community at large and society as a whole.
